A buddy of mine forwarded this to me:

Ebay. Ebay does ZIP about it so in the interest of self policing I

To Whom It May Concern,

I know the gentleman that you speak of and I can say that what you
have stated is patently false! Dr. Koegel, is a most honorable man and
you should retract what you have said because your lies are easily
refuted. He recounted to me what in fact had occurred. What you are
doing is a crime and a violation of privacy. Your attempts to malign
this man is shameful and you are without honor. This is what truly
happened:

An individual who claimed to be from Japan, won an auction on Ebay
from guitarabilly. However, after waiting several weeks for payment,
the fellow from Japan never sent the payment. Proof was asked that the
payment was sent and the individual who goes by the Ebay name
Sumie9525 refused to provide proof that he had in fact sent payment
for the guitar in question (by the way Sumie9525 has 0 feedback,
compared to guitarabilly's over 200 positive feedbacks). Furthermore,
guitarabilly opened a nonpayment dispute and had to close it because
Sumie9525 refused to respond. Sumie9525 was supposed to send the
payment via bank wire transfer and not any other way. Something was
already wrong at this juncture. Furthermore, guitarabilly sensed that
Sumie9525 was a scam artist because he asked for guitarabilly's social
security number. No one on Ebay would ask for that! A fake SSN was
given to Sumie9525 and Dr. Koegel proved that his suspicions were
correct. Sumie9525 became angry when he realized he was not going to
scam guitarabilly out of a guitar. Evidence of this is, Sumie9525
posted private information on the internet as a retaliation for not
being able to scam a guitar from this fine gentleman. Sumie9525 tried
to play the "broken English" game with Dr. Koegel but screwed up when
he sent a very articulate e-mail that only someone proficient in
English could compose! For those who are curious as to who the REAL
SCAM ARTIST IS:

Sumie Nakayama
4-26 Akishino
satsuki cho
Nara 631-0812
Japan
742 33 2339

I have purchased many excellent guitars from guitarabilly as well as
hundreds of others who have had no problems. Problems only occur when
scam artists like Sumie9525 try to scam people and waste the time of
others! Sumie Nakayama (that's if that's his true name) is scum. You
don't get your drinking water from the toliet do you? No. Then why
listen to the lies from Sumie9525 or anyone else? If this person is
from Japan, he is an insult to Japanese and should commit seppuku!
Beware of Sumie9525 or Sumie Nakayama - he is a low-life scam artist
who has the nerve of trying to lie about and insult those he fails to
scam!
